Control


The customer does have a lot of control over their shopping experience on jcrew.com. Consumers can browse through merchandise organized into categories and classifications. J.Crew does not allow the customer to filter products by price but once a category like "dresses" is selected the customer can then sort by style and fit, and even special sizes. J.Crew may benefit by allowing customers to sort by price. Being able to sort by price will allow the customer to find what they are looking for faster. If a customer is on a budget they may not want to spend extra time browsing through the J.Crew website when they can just go to another retailer's website and quickly search for merchandise in their budget.
